Terms of Service
The rules for using the Quest website and learner platform.
1. About these terms
These terms govern access to the Quest website and learner platform operated by Nova Pioneer PSSP Limited. By using Quest, a user—and where applicable their parent, guardian or school—agrees to follow these terms.
2. Who may use Quest
Quest is designed for secondary school learners, including learners who may be under 18. Schools, parents and guardians are responsible for providing any consent required by law and for supporting learners to use the service appropriately.
3. Accounts and access
Users must provide accurate signup information, keep passwords private and use only their own account. A school code connects a learner to a participating school. Users should tell Quest promptly if they believe an account has been accessed without permission.
4. Acceptable use
Users must not misuse Quest, try to access another person's account, interfere with the service, upload unlawful or harmful material, or use the platform to harm, harass or deceive another person.
5. Learning guidance
Quest supports reflection, planning and applications. Quest Coach provides feedback and coaching but does not make decisions for learners, replace a teacher or counsellor, guarantee admission, funding or employment, or remove the need to verify important application information.
6. Learner work
Learners keep ownership of the original work they create. They give Quest permission to store, process and display that work as needed to provide the service, generate feedback, support the account and meet legal obligations.
7. Quest content
The Quest name, design, software and learning content belong to Nova Pioneer PSSP Limited or its licensors. Users may use them only through the service for their intended educational purpose and may not copy, sell or redistribute them without permission.
8. Availability and changes
Quest may update, improve or temporarily interrupt parts of the service. Features still described as coming soon are not available. We will not present an unavailable feature as part of a current paid service.
9. Privacy and learner information
Personal information is handled as described in the Quest Privacy Policy and under applicable Kenyan data-protection law. The Privacy Policy explains what is collected, who can access it and how rights requests can be made.
10. Suspending or ending access
Quest may restrict or end access where an account is used unlawfully, unsafely or in serious breach of these terms. A user, parent, guardian or authorised school may also request account closure, subject to verification and applicable retention duties.
11. Responsibility
Quest will provide the service with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, Nova Pioneer PSSP Limited is not responsible for decisions made solely from automated feedback, third-party opportunities or events, or circumstances outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any dispute should first be raised with Quest so the parties can try to resolve it directly before using another lawful process.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms should be sent to Nova Pioneer PSSP Limited.
